Vanderbilt University requires all eligible students to be covered by a health insurance plan that is comparable to or exceeds the Student Injury and Sickness Insurance Plan.  Student Account will automatically bill the insurance fee in two equal installments; if the student withdraws or leaves the University at any time or for any reason after enrolling in the Vanderbilt insurance plan, the student will still be responsible for payment of the premium for the full 12 months of coverage.  If the student already has comparable health coverage, then a waiver from the Vanderbilt insurance plan must be requested.  For more information please visit the Student Health Center website.

Students in the MSACI Program are charged the Student Recreation Fee, which covers the cost of a membership to the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center.  Students who qualify for a one-time semester waiver may submit a Fee Waiver Request.
