Resident Life

The Vanderbilt Orthopaedic Residency program is committed, not only to the educational development of our residents, but to the development of professional relationships. Throughout the year many activities are planned which stimulate comraderie and mentorship between the faculty and the residents. Activities range from the Intern Welcome Party to the Chief Residents' Roast party held each year at Dr. Holt's home as well as multiple events for holidays throughout the year. Culminating in the Chief Resident dinner, a formal event to honor the chiefs and recognize faculty who were instrumental to their success.

Whether you are looking for a downtown apartment or a house that has a yard, Nashville has it all.  See where some of our residents live (red) in relation to Vanderbilt University Medical Center (gold) and our ambulatory surgical centers (blue).
