Continuing Medical Education

As part of Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and Vanderbilt University Medical Center, we make a commitment to the continuous professional development of physicians and other health professionals at Vanderbilt and in the community.

We believe continuing education is an important part of the continuum of medical education. What starts with the undergraduate experience progresses through graduate medical education and matures into ongoing continuing medical education and professional development. In order to meet that goal, the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery plans and presents numerous conferences and continuing educational events each year.

Course Offerings

We provide continuing orthopedic surgery learning opportunities for alumni, athletic trainers, faculty, fellows, occupational therapists, physical therapists and residents.
