Hand and Upper Extremity Research

The Vanderbilt Hand & Upper Extremity Research Program is dedicated to improving patient care through clinical and academic research.  Our goal is to add clinically relevant information related to hand and upper extremity conditions to the medical literature by way of clinical trials, biomechanical studies, and case reviews.

Our research team includes four nationally published orthopaedic surgeons with over 55 years combined experience in hand and upper extremity orthopaedic surgery.
